Design and development for Kit for Palazzo Strozzi

  #culturalheritage #IxD #usercentreddesign #designthinking

The user experience in museum contexts is strongly influenced by the mediation tools that the museum offers to the visitor: audioguides, guided tours and children's workshops delineate experiences which are very different from each other and imply a different relationship between the user and the artwork. Palazzo Strozzi is an up-to-date center in the field of museum education and with BSD they are developing two instruments to explore the exhibition "The Cinquecento in Florence, between Michelangelo, Pontormo and Giambologna": the Family Kit and the Design Kit. The two kits, which are designed ad hoc by the Foundation to support an engaging and personalized experience, are characterized by the personality of graphic design developed by BSD.
